The Gibson Les Paul Junior and Special were revised in 1958 to have double cutaways and more fingerboard access, but the Special didn't really hit its groove until 1960, when the lower pickup placement and slim neck taper made it more robust and easier to play than ever.
This Les Paul Special double cutaway is from 1994 with a cherry finished mahogany body and neck and black multi-layer pick guard. The pickups appear to be P-90s, but according to the specs when this was released, these guitars shipped with stacked humbuckers. 🤷🏻♂️
Overall, the guitar is in very good condition but as you can see, there is some "delamination" on the headstock.
Ships with a Gibson hard shell case
