A super cool small headstock, one piece neck, one piece body 1968 Les Paul Standard Goldtop. The pots are dated 1968 and it has all original parts except old nickel Grovers and a later case. It has a refinished gold top that looks great with period correct color. We thought about having the top aged to make it look really cool but will let the next owner decide that option for themselves. The headstock may or may not have a small crack. We black-lighted it and saw nothing. If there was a repair, it’s one of the best jobs ever done. (I can't see anything, buy my partner thinks there is something there!)
Considering the refinished top and that it may (or may not) have a headstock repair, we have priced this one at about 50% less than a really nice one.
Shows some belt buckle marks, dings and other signs of play as you would expect. We have included numerous pics to try to show as much detail as possible. The guitar plays great, has good frets and sounds great with these P-90s.
