2002 Gibson ES-335 Natural/Blond Dot Neck with Flame Top/Back/Sides Option
One of the best ES-335 guitars to come in our shop. If the flame maple on this guitar was on a Les Paul, players would be fighting over it! The most popular flame for Gibson, wide-fat flames, side-to-side on a one-piece top. A very special Gibson guitar build.
This ES-335 is as clean as you would find a new one hanging in a guitar store, except the pickguard has pick wear on it. No belt-buckle marks!
This guitar is an 8-digit serial number vs the later 9-digit numbers starting in 2005. A cool little factoid. It has a real Rosewood fretboard vs the Richlite, Baked-Maple and other, umm, non-traditional boards found on later guitars. Has original Grover tuners and a Brown Gibson case (the lock is broken). The original PAF reissue pickups were out and then put back in the guitar and the lead wires spliced near the pickups. They work as designed and sound great.
All in all, a great looking and playing Blond and Flamed ES-335.
