We have seen a lot of things over the years, but we have never seen one of these. An original 1957 (last year of production) Les Paul Jr Amp in the Original Gibson Factory Shipping Box, with an intact Postage on the carton when it was mailed Feb. 20, 1957 from Freeport, Illinois for the whopping sum of 94 cents. Talk about inflation!
This is a rare collectable that will look great in an amp collection or along side a sweet Les Paul Junior. We plugged it in and the red jewel light glowed, sound comes out of both inputs but at a muted volume. This amp was in a collection and not used in decades. We guess the next owner will look at it rather than play the Fillmore with it so, it is sold “As Is”. It is not mint but a solid very good condition amp. The box makes the package compelling.
We love to trade. We will consider vintage, used or newer guitars, basses, amps, etc… and jewelry, including Rolex and other high end watches in trade. All offers considered.
